"April was recommended to me after a trip to South America in which I did a psychedelic journey I was struggling to integrate into my daily life after my return back to the United States. She has been a welcomed breath of fresh air and clarity. I can't say enough good things about my experience with her."

"April was recommended to me by a friend of mine when I was going through my divorce. She has helped me to find my own voice and step into my own power. Together we have gotten to the root cause of my unhealthy patterns and choices. I have made tremendous progress over the last year while working with her. In my opinion she is the exact mixture of street smarts, education and mystical wise women that I need."

"I found April Mullen once I realized I needed to transition. From the moment I met her for an intake appointment I have felt valued, listened to and challenged. She helped me navigate the rough waters of early transition, of coming out to family members, to friends, to co-workers and to society as a whole. She challenges me to re-frame self-depreciating statements, while pointing out successes I experience. She listens to me and my feelings are always seen as valid, but stances are challenged to make me evaluate them in my own context.  Meeting with her for nearly two years on a weekly basis has been a high-point in my week, and the occasional week where I have to cancel always feels rough. She has been by my side from my start, and I'm privileged enough to have her with me moving forward into new aspects of my life. Thank you April."

  • Why teletherapy?

Our appointments are 100% virtual. Teletherapy is gradually gaining popularity among customers, particularly during the pandemic. We can now provide high-quality treatments to customers from the comfort of their own homes thanks to teletherapy. This may alleviate some of the apprehension people have about seeking help from a therapist, while also ensuring the safety of both the therapist and the patient.

We've also been able to improve access to care thanks to teletherapy. You won't have to worry about being stuck in traffic or driving great distances to obtain the help you need. Teletherapy is a good option if you live in a small town or can't find a nearby provider who is covered by your insurance. Though we are based in Bellingham, WA, telehealth allows our therapists to connect with patients in other areas.
