Why Wellness Matters

The ability to maintain an optimal level of wellness is absolutely crucial to living a higher quality of life. Wellness matters because everything we do and every emotion we feel relates to our well-being.

In turn, our well-being directly effects our thoughts, feelings, actions, and behaviors. It’s an ongoing cycle.

Therefore, it is utterly important to achieve optimal wellness to subdue stress, reduce the risk of illness, and create positive interactions with others.

There are 8 dimensions of wellness, and each dimension is equally vital in the pursuit of optimal physical and mental health. One can reach an optimal level of wellness by understanding how to optimize each dimension of wellness.

Nobody walks through this life without struggle. At Bloom Health and Wellness, we want you to know that you are not alone. Through adversity, we can come in contact with our most authentic selves and begin to forge a path towards a healthier personal tomorrow. We are all capable of great change and all deserving of our best selves.

  • Why teletherapy?

Our appointments are 100% virtual. Teletherapy is gradually gaining popularity among customers, particularly during the pandemic. We can now provide high-quality treatments to customers from the comfort of their own homes thanks to teletherapy. This may alleviate some of the apprehension people have about seeking help from a therapist, while also ensuring the safety of both the therapist and the patient.

We've also been able to improve access to care thanks to teletherapy. You won't have to worry about being stuck in traffic or driving great distances to obtain the help you need. Teletherapy is a good option if you live in a small town or can't find a nearby provider who is covered by your insurance. Though we are based in Bellingham, WA, telehealth allows our therapists to connect with patients in other areas.
